THE TROAKE INCURSIONAs you know, Wink Taylor is an accomplished celebrity impressionist and voice actor and provides the voice of each Doctor in the trailers for my collection of stories. The Third Doctor (as portrayed by Jon Pertwee) is one of his favourites, and when he first read 'The Troake Incursion' he commended it as a story which "really evoked the Pertwee era brilliantly". An opinion that prompted him to suggest that I produce an abridged version of the full-length story as a script for an audio drama. Wink then assembled a team to bring that script to life, including his long-time professional colleague Alexander White of Arpeggio Creative Studios in Cheltenham, who brought to it his sound design, composing, editing and recording skills. Wink was joined in the cast by JD Kelly (Dragonheir: Silent Gods) and Wendy Abrahams (The Theo the Mouse Show), and all three give fabulously compelling performances. The result of the combined talents of these four entertainment professionals is truly exciting, as you will discover if you listen to the above audio drama of 'The Troake Incursion'.
